| | Details:'Original Lithograph I' - Motif: Blue Star (L'astre bleu) Although this five-armed star looks more like a pretty starfish, it belongs to the trilogy of celestial bodies that Miro worked on especially for the volume "Miro Lithographs". As befits a star, it is orbited by planets and "space creatures" à la Miro. But haven't we always secretly known that space is anything but empty, colorless and unpopulated? True, our Earth is not a star but a planet, but one may assume that Joan Miro wanted to stage our blue planet here.
