"Dog barking at the moon" - 1952   With this wonderful work (original French title: "Le chien aboyant à la lune réveille le coq" - The Dog Barking at the Moon Wakes the Rooster) to share in a cozy table scene featuring a rooster, a dog, a pumpkin, and a bird-like carafe - were it not for a sulking crescent moon in the background of the image, which already seems to have turned black with annoyance at the dog's barking. However one chooses to interpret this "ensemble", crafted with Cubist elements - one should do so with a sense of humor.
