| | Details:"S" Rouge et noir, 1992 For Kumi Sugai a new chapter in his painting began in the nineties of the last century. After experiments in the eighties with complicated shades, the lithographs of the "S" series followed in 1990, a range of lithographs that was to become the first of its kind. These works became a representative part of Sugai's oeuvre. Here is the "extended S" printed in red and black on light grey.
