Technique:	Original lithograph in colours (Mourlot no. 204) This is N O T a mass-produced reprint (photomechanical reproduction) but the original lithograph from the first edition of the monograph "Chagall" by J. Lassaigne, exactly as referenced in Mourlots catalogue raisonné. Note: there are lots of reproduced plates from a later piracy reprint edition that are no original lithographs!

Edition | Paper:	One of 6000 unsigned impressions for the book edition on smooth velin paper. In addition, 90 pencil-signed and numbered impressions on Arches wove paper with wide margins were published. With the typical, inconspicuous centerfold, as published in 1957.
