| | Details:"Forio d'Ischia" - 1973 After World War II, the Italian island of Ischia became Eduard Bargheer's adopted home, and after his return to Hamburg, his summer residence. Both places were welcome motifs for Bargheer to capture in his works. A gifted engraver, he succeeded in giving his aquatint prints the glazing effect of watercolors, making them appear unique. Here is one of only 35 Roman-numbered copies on Japanese paper.
