| | Details:"Danseuse" (Ballet Dancer) - Original Lithograph for "Le Ballet" Picasso drew the enchanting dancer in March 1954 with four colored chalk pencils on transparent transfer paper, from which the drawing was then transferred to lithographic stones and printed as an original print. At the time, it appeared as the frontispiece in the publication "Le Ballet", which was released in the same year. The original lithograph of the "Dancer" ("Danseuse") is listed in all catalogues raisonnés of Picasso's prints, and you will receive an extract from the most important one for your records. This motif was also reproduced as an art print in later years, but these are not original lithographs, so caution is advised. A copy of the original lithograph is also in the Picasso collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York: MoMA Collection - Pablo Picasso, Ballet Dancer 1954
